Modern design, very high absorption of acoustic energy, airiness, durability and ecology. These are the attributes of Silentmax3D acoustic panels.

Are you looking for a way to reduce echo and noise in the interior in a modern way? We have a solution. Silentmax3D acoustic panels can be placed on the wall or ceiling.

Building kit

Assemble the Silentmax3D acoustic panel yourself, quickly and easily. Segments are cut from Silentmax® acoustic panels. You fasten Silentmax easy-fix metal profiles, which have a groove every 5 cm, to the wall using dowels. By simply inserting the acoustic profiles into the grooves, a plastic Silentmax3D pattern is created. Assembly is easy, fast and fun. We save on packaging and shipping costs.

Active area

The acoustic absorption surface is the sum of all the surfaces of the individual segments of the Silentmax3D acoustic panel. Overall, its absorption surface is 2.5 times larger than height x width.

The acoustic panel kit can be purchased directly in our e-shop.

How to improve acoustics

In most cases, we need to reduce the echo, or reduce the reverberation time. You can read more here. The echo is reduced by simply adding acoustically absorbent material to the given space. The larger the space and the more the need to reduce the echo, the more acoustically absorbent material will be needed.

Acoustic absorption function

The speed of sound is 345 ms-1 , a significant echo has a reverberation time greater than 1 second. This means that between walls at a distance of 3.45 m it bounces 100 times in one second, at a distance of 7 m it bounces about 50 times in one second and between a ceiling and a floor of 2.5 m it bounces almost 140 times.

Sound spreads through air waves in space in all directions, spherically (like an expanding sphere). Like when you throw a stone into water, waves spread across the surface. The propagation of sound in the air works in the same way, only in all directions. Simply put, from the sound source, the waves spread in all directions. When an acoustic wave hits a hard surface (wall, pavement, concrete, glass, wood), the energy is reflected. The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection. When an acoustic wave hits a soft material, its acoustic energy is absorbed. You can read more about reverberation and sound propagation in space, for example, here.

3D pattern

It is generated by proprietary software that converts a 3D mathematical function into a 2D cutting plan. We will provide free Silentmax3D models to architects, interior designers and designers. The models can be easily used when visualizing interiors, offices, halls and the like.

The pattern function is inspired by nature, ripples are formed after a drop hits the water surface. We used the function inverse in time, so a circle is created in the middle of the pattern and its copies (waves) become denser from the center. For larger areas further from the center, thanks to the optical illusion, concentric circles will start to appear again.
